Spring in Bloom

Is it too late for me to say how much I love Spring in my town? Well, I guess spring anywhere can be nice but I've been so in awe of this time of year I almost forgot to just spend some time taking pictures. My eyes have been soaking it all in and I'm ignoring all of your eyes... shame on me.

Here is a picture of a pink dogwood my dad planted last year. It is still blooming so I thought you could enjoy it too.

This past Saturday I got an opportunity to shoot second for my friend April. She is a dynamo in wedding photography and assisting is so much fun - it is good to eat cake again!

Down in the Lake

So, before we had a few weeks of this much needed rain - Sean and I went down to explore the terrain that lies under Falls Lake. Here are some of the great things we found... too bad they are all underwater again.
